[Remote] Mid Level Civil Structural Engineer - Data Center Mission Critical
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join their Data Center Mission Critical Group. This role involves supporting engineering design and analysis projects for data centers, ensuring project success through strong client relationships and precise documentation.
Responsibilities
- Drive impactful solutions in the power industry through expert design, analysis, and cutting-edge building systems
- Ensure safety and resilience with precise seismic and structural analysis, adhering to the latest codes and standards
- Lead projects with vision, fostering collaboration, and delivering cost-effective, high-quality solutions
- Develop detailed designs, calculations, and documentation, transforming concepts into executable plans
- Conduct site inspections and provide practical support to ensure seamless construction and design implementation
- Work across disciplines to create holistic, forward-thinking solutions that drive engineering excellence
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in a design engineering role preferably in design of structures in commercial and critical infrastructure environments for mid-level
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
- PE or SE desired or plan to obtain within the next 2 years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
- Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
- Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
- Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
- ETABS software experience strongly preferred
