[Remote] Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will work directly with clients to transform raw data into clear insights and high-quality reports, utilizing expertise in Power BI and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements for reports and dashboards
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Write optimized SQL queries (including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions) to extract, cleanse, and transform data
- Define and implement data validation, accuracy, and quality checks
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Participate in customer engagement activities, clearly communicating technical concepts, design decisions, and project progress to stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3–6 years of industry experience as a hands‑on practitioner in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and proven experience with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation
- Proven experience building advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with 2–3 major cloud and data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks)
- Expertise in 3–4 key data/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, dbt)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
