[Remote] Recruiter

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Empire Workforce Solutions is a rapidly growing company focused on skilled trades staffing and construction projects. They are seeking a Skilled Trades Recruiter to source, recruit, and onboard skilled trades professionals for various construction roles while maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, Hire & Deploy Skilled Trades Talent
• Source, recruit, screen, interview, and onboard skilled trades professionals for commercial, industrial, civil, and specialty construction projects
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of field talent to support immediate orders, emergency fills, and project ramp-ups
• Recruit for high-demand positions including: Electricians, Carpenters (Rough & Finish), Skilled Laborers, Plumbers & Pipefitters, Welders & Fabricators, HVAC Technicians, Heavy Equipment Operators, Concrete & General Construction Trades
• Fill open job orders with urgency while maintaining quality and compliance
• Conduct candidate screening, reference checks, onboarding, orientation, and employment verification
• Ensure candidates meet required certifications, PPE requirements, and jobsite expectations
• Manage attendance, employee relations, no-shows, call-offs, and redeployment opportunities
• Work closely with account managers and leadership to anticipate hiring demands
• Support large workforce deployments, shutdowns, same-day requests, and project expansions
• Help maintain workforce continuity for critical construction schedules
• Create strong relationships with field employees and clients
• Improve employee retention, redeployment, and workforce engagement
• Become a trusted workforce partner to both candidates and contractors

Skills

• 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred in: Skilled Trades Staffing, Construction Staffing, Workforce Solutions
• Strong sourcing and recruiting skills
• Ability to manage high-volume requisitions in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience using Bullhorn strongly preferred
• Experience using Wurknow is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
