[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst * Work from home

They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the organization’s reporting, analytics, and planning needs by collecting and modeling data to deliver actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document moderate to highly complex financial and data analyses
- Develop advanced financial models, forecasting tools, and automated reporting solutions
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations (Power BI preferred) to support leadership decision-making
- Leverage Python (or similar tools) for data manipulation, automation, and scalability of recurring processes
- Translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions, improving efficiency and data accessibility across Finance
- Integrate and analyze large datasets across systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, data warehouses)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven insights and predictive analytics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range planning processes
- Conduct cost-benefit, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, strengthen data governance, and align financial outputs with organizational priorities
- May lead projects or provide guidance to other analysts on technical and analytical approaches
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, analytics, or related field with demonstrated experience in data analytics, automation, or business intelligence
- Advanced Excel proficiency (complex modeling, Power Query, and macro/VBA automation)
- Experience with Power BI for dashboard development, data modeling, and storytelling for non-technical stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SQL, and familiarity with data warehouses, or enterprise data platforms
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to bridge finance and technology, translating business problems into analytical solutions
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights

- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows or automation tools (Copilot, forecasting models, etc.)
