[Remote] VCF Operations Senior Consultant

The VCF Operations Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management of VMware Cloud Foundation environments, focusing on hands-on operational execution and collaboration with client operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including compute, network, and storage components
- Execute lifecycle activities such as upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance using SDDCManager
- Monitor platform health and respond to alerts, incidents, and performance issues
- Troubleshoot issues across vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and VCF management components
- Assist with environment configuration, capacity management, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with client teams to support incident resolution and operational improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and operational procedures
- Follow established operational processes, standards, and client-specific requirements
- Support onboarding of new workloads or infrastructure into existing VCF environments
Skills
- Current Experience supporting VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, including the use of VCF Operations (formerly Aria Operations/vROps) for platform-wide monitoring, capacity planning, and performance management
- Familiarity with lifecycle management, upgrades, and patching of infrastructure platforms
- Experience with VMware technologies such as vSphere, NSX, vSAN, or SDDC Manager
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues across compute, network, and storage
- Ability to manage multiple operational tasks and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, or related tracks
- VCF 9 Knowledge: Experience with the unified VCF 9 console and its simplified networking workflows
