[Remote] Lead Full Stack Engineer

They are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to provide technical leadership for a team responsible for building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems, with a focus on architecture and mentoring engineers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for a team responsible for building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems
- Focus on architecture, technical direction, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable software solutions
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting production applications
- Strong experience with Node.js, Express, TypeScript, React, Redux, and React Native
- Experience designing and supporting cloud-native applications, distributed systems, and third-party integrations
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, SQS, and SNS
- Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar database technologies
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or similar tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers through architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance
- Experience leading technical roadmaps and architectural planning efforts
- Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, FullStory, or similar monitoring platforms
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills without direct management responsibilities
- Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities
