Business Development Representative
Nexthink is a leader in digital employee experience management software, providing IT leaders with insights to enhance employee technology interactions. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to build a sales foundation and create new pipeline opportunities by researching target accounts and engaging with potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Build qualified pipeline by researching and engaging target accounts in your assigned territory
- Partner with Account Executives to identify priority accounts, personas, and outreach strategies
- Use email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and sales tools to connect with IT and business leaders
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities
- Clearly communicate Nexthink’s value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences
- Track activity, prospecting progress, and pipeline contribution in Salesforce and other sales systems
- Participate in sales meetings, forecast discussions, campaign planning, and territory reviews
- Learn from top-performing BDRs, Account Executives, Client Specialists, and sales leaders
- Use coaching, call reviews, role plays, and feedback to continuously improve your sales skills
- Build the foundation to progress into future roles such as Client Specialist, Inside Sales, or Account Executive

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in BDR/SDR, sales, recruiting, fundraising, customer service, hospitality, real estate, or another high-activity customer-facing role is a plus
- Outbound prospecting, cold calling, or sales development
- Recruiting, agency work, fundraising, alumni calling, door-to-door sales, real estate, automotive sales, or other roles requiring persistence and persuasion
- Experience owning metrics such as calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates, pipeline generated, quota attainment, or revenue impact
- Internships, campus leadership, athletics, volunteer work, or other examples of initiative, resilience, and commitment
