Financial Planning Data Input Specialist
Cain Watters & Associates is a firm focused on financial planning, and they are seeking a Financial Planning Data Input Specialist. This role is responsible for entering financial data into various systems while ensuring client information remains confidential.
Responsibilities
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
- Processes client and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies
- Verifies entered client and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
- Combines data from various systems when account information is incomplete
- Purges files as needed to eliminate duplication of data
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Assists planning teams as needed to securely submit client information to third parties such as lenders and insurance providers
- Ad hoc duties as required
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Data Input, preferably in the Financial Industry
- Established ability to quickly learn new technologies and accurately input data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to gain and maintain the trust of others on a consistent basis
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Extreme thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
