Municipal Engineer - Entry Level
Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Municipal Engineer - Entry Level to focus on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects for local and government agencies. The role involves managing client relationships, conducting field inspections, and preparing construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
- Work with a variety of projects for municipal client needs related to water, sewer and streets
- Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
- Perform condition assessments
- Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
- Manage projects and programs from inception to completion
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 0 – 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
- FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained
- Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects
- Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
- Management, communication, and organization skills
