Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Product Analyst to join our Advertising team. In this role, you will be the data backbone for the promotions organization, translating complex data sets into actionable insights that drive product improvements, revenue growth, and operational efficiency. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to build and maintain robust dashboards, conduct deep‑dive analyses, and become the go‑to expert on the end‑to‑end advertising workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Advertising leadership to define, prioritize, and execute on strategic initiatives that enhance the advertising platform.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Snowflake, Airflow, Splunk, etc.) to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and own interactive business and product dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Drive yield optimization across arenaflex’s advertising ecosystem, including search, social, and display channels, by identifying high‑impact levers and recommending data‑backed solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to refine product specifications, improve feature adoption, and streamline operational workflows.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the promotions organization, fielding complex queries that require a deep understanding of the advertising stack and presenting findings to audiences ranging from junior analysts to C‑level executives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data pipelines, analytical methodologies, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging advertising technologies, and best practices in data visualization to continuously elevate the analytical capabilities of the team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or product analytics, preferably within a digital advertising or e‑commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with modern data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or the “Scene” suite, and the ability to craft compelling visual stories for diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently scope problems, formulate hypotheses, execute analyses, and communicate insights clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including search advertising, programmatic display, social media campaigns, and performance metrics (e.g., CPM, CPC, ROI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating technical findings into business‑focused recommendations.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization, collaborating across multiple functional teams, and navigating ambiguous situations with confidence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advertising technology stacks, such as demand‑side platforms (DSPs), real‑time bidding (RTB) systems, or auction‑based ad exchanges.
  • Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis (Python, R) and statistical modeling techniques.
