Supervision Performance & Automation Analyst
LPL Financial is a leading wealth management firm in the U.S., supporting financial advisors and institutions. The Supervision Performance & Automation Analyst will assist in delivering automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency for the Supervision team, requiring collaboration and innovative problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Support and collaborate with more experienced colleagues to deliver large-scale solutions across a variety of projects & initiatives
- Jointly participate in projects & tasks while advancing skills in discovery, design, and implementation of process improvements and automated workflows
- Optimize processes by conducting stakeholder interviews to compile needs assessment, identify requirements, and support solution design
- Conduct data validation and process testing exercises, identifying defects and proposing solutions or workarounds
- Work cross-functionality to deliver & implement more efficient workflows by combining backend data sources in Alteryx
- Research and resolve unknowns independently by leveraging resources and navigating the organization to obtain information and achieve objectives
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing ways to leverage data aggregation tools, automated workflows, or AI to streamline our team’s ability to operate & execute on our initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- 1+ years of experience in data sourcing, extraction, or analytics
- Experience in Excel, SQL, python, and/or Alteryx
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and excellent business judgment with successful track record for working independently
- Resourceful problem solver that is able to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
- Demonstrates work ethic and possesses a natural curiosity with a commitment to continually learn and grow
- Written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
- Knowledge of Supervision, securities licenses a plus (7, 66/63)
- Prior experience replacing manual workflows by aggregating data to create automated or more efficient solutions
