Brevant Area Product Manager (IA/MN/SD/ND)
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable product and agronomy specialist to join our team covering IA, MN, SD, and ND. This individual will act as a key product liaison between our Vylor product team and the Brevant Sales Team, assisting the sales team and retail partners in delivering the most productive and profitable portfolio to their growers. The right candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a passion for helping teams and customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge Expert Collaborate with the Vylor product team to evaluate and assess advancement class opportunities. Introduce newly advanced products to the sales team and provide educational sessions to ensure understanding. Present to our retail partners throughout the year to drive product confidence and adoption. Aid in the creation of support materials, such as technical sheets, messaging points, and yield data, to assist sales and technical teams. Lifecycle Management Own and execute the demand planning process, including new class launches and risk factor analysis. Monitor, identify, and recommend optimal timing for product declines and exits. Lead local portfolio teams through trait transitions quickly while managing inventory goals Maintain a focus on product count and manage product profitability throughout the lifecycle. Field & Support Assistance Serve as a technical resource for the field team, addressing technical product questions and challenges. Provide guidance on substitution options for supply constraints as needed. Collaborate with marketing to provide data and insights that aid in marketing material creation and pricing direction.
