Fluid Truck is one of Denver’s premier tech start-up companies and is rapidly scaling across the US with a proven technology platform that provides a more efficient way of connecting businesses & consumers with trucks. Fluid allows people and businesses to connect their vehicles to our platform via Fluid Connect (a piece of hardware) that enables Fluid's mobile app to lock/unlock, track fuel/mileage, and mobilize the engine, making any vehicle easily rentable by other businesses and individuals. We enable businesses to dynamically scale up and down without having to take on more overhead, and we enable owners to generate cash from their existing assets and vehicles purchased for investment. We're facilitating more efficient utilization of vehicles around the country. The Fleet Manager is responsible for keeping Fluid Truck's fleet well maintained. These responsibilities include planning, coordinating and supervising maintenance, repair and replacement of fleet vehicles. Fleet Managers will be responsible for sourcing vendors for tires, oil changes, glass, etc. and managing those relationships. In addition, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Fleet Technicians across multiple markets by creating work schedules, prioritizing tasks and ensuring their quality and accuracy of work. The Ideal Candidate should be a quick learner in a technology driven (mobile app) environment. You can expect a challenging work environment and should be able to adapt to rapidly changing initiatives. You can also expect to work hard alongside some of the most awesome people you’ll ever meet! Candidates should have at least 3 years of fleet management experience and experience managing direct reports. The position will be remote, working from your home office with the expectation that you may need to travel to multiple markets in order to provide additional support. Candidates must be located in the central or eastern time zones.

Responsibilities

Include Fleet manager will be the customer facing point of contact. Responsible for managing all aspects and issues related vehicle rentals & inventory including but not limited to: responding promptly to customer questions coordinating damage claims, maintenance scheduling & management identifying & procuring vehicle parking coordinating periodic cleaning & inspections procuring license plates & renewals managing tolls ensuring compliance with local ordinances. Qualifications 3 years of fleet management experience 3 years of supervisory/managing a team of employees Excellent customer relation skills Collaborate with multiple departments within the organization Ability to support multiple markets Apply To This Job
