Software Engineer III
Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to lead the design, development, and support of complex enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to drive large-scale initiatives from analysis through implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive application development experience and strong knowledge of Salesforce Apex, VS Code, and GitLab in enterprise environments. Location: RemoteDuration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex systems analysis, application design, development, testing, and implementation activities. Serve as a senior technical contributor and mentor on enterprise-level software projects. Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing application solutions aligned with business objectives. Coordinate technical development tasks and support junior team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders. Create and maintain technical specifications, system documentation, and project estimates. Perform debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Evaluate new technologies and recommend process improvements and system enhancements. Ensure compliance with development standards, risk controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 6 years of systems analysis and/or application development experience. Strong hands-on experience with:Salesforce Apex VS Code GitLab Experience leading or supporting complex enterprise application projects. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and project deadlines. Experience coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders. Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within enterprise banking or financial services environments. Advanced understanding of integrated enterprise applications and frameworks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments. Experience supporting large-scale or highly complex application ecosystems. Education Requirements Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; OR Combined 8 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including at least 6 years in systems analysis/application development. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.98 to $93.29/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
