Summary

Description Purpose of Role: As the Director of Enterprise IT at Equiti Health, you will be pivotal in leading and optimizing various organizational technical functions. Reporting directly to the SVP Technology, you will spearhead critical initiatives to transform desktop support and oversee Enterprise IT for internal systems. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating organization-wide scalable, repeatable processes, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless technical operations across the company. Essential Responsibilities Strategic Planning and IT Alignment:

  • Define and execute strategies for managing and scaling IT infrastructure to support organizational objectives.
  • Ensure IT projects and systems enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Advise executives on technology investments and digital transformation initiatives.

Infrastructure and System Management:

  • Ensure security, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance, identify vulnerabilities, and plan upgrades or enhancements.
  • Evaluate, implement, and facilitate adoption of cutting-edge technologies and tools to optimize the company's technological capabilities.

Desktop Support Ownership:

  • Provide leadership and direction for desktop support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing desktop hardware and software.
  • Implement proactive measures to prevent and mitigate desktop-related disruptions.
  • Oversee employee-hardware and system portfolio maintenance
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Security to develop and deploy employee onboarding/offboarding policies and procedures to create a world-class employee experience.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with Security to harden the company's security posture and drive the implementation of processes, procedures, and controls to support industry standard certifications like NIST, HITRUST, and SOC2 Type II.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard organizational operations.

Project and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee IT projects from planning to implementation, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.

  • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate IT staff.
  • Foster collaboration, optimize team performance, and provide guidance on technical challenges.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • ITSM and CMDB Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) principles, including ITIL practices.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans that align IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Project Management Skills: Expertise in managing complex projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, with a focus on meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Change Management: Ability to lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and across various functions.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal service delivery and support.

Preferred:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance in all IT operations.

Relevant Working Conditions/ Physical Demands:

  • Sitting at a computer – 6-8 hours per day – 90% of the time
  • Travel up to 5% of time.
