ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares reports and correspondence to customers, other VeriClaim adjusters, and/or insureds. Evaluates residential and commercial contents inventories obtained by or submitted to VeriClaim on both a replacement cost and actual cash value basis. Applies limitations and/or exclusions based on coverage afforded by the policy. Finalizes inventory in preparation of reporting including: preparing enclosures, preparing letters, and making detailed notes for reporting purposes. Facilitates the use of replacement services as requested by the Contents Adjuster. Reviews and processes replacement receipts. Communicates with colleagues, management, customers, and insureds in a courteous and professional manner. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality program(s). QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience Three (3) years customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Skills & Knowledge Good oral and written communication skills PC literate, including Microsoft Office products Ability to read and comprehend policy language Ability to work in a team environment Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies WORK ENVIRONMENT When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.
