Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (12-month term)
Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for supporting the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes. This role prepares the analysis, models, and reporting that support FP&A's business partnering across the organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages. Assist with delivery of budget and forecast templates and support the annual budgeting process as well as periodic forecasts. Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations between actuals, forecast, and budget. Prepare and analyze cash flow reports to monitor liquidity and financial stability. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis. Work closely with the accounting team to support accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from across the business. Maintain FP&A tools and support system implementations and process improvements, as required. This list of responsibilities might not cover everything you'll end up doing.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting designation (or working towards). 5+ years of experience in FP&A. Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial statements. Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools. Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
