Strategic Business Consultant — Brevant® Seeds The Brevant® Seeds Strategic Business Consultant is to serve as a business advisor and strategic insights leader supporting the Eastern CU field teams, and key external retail partners. This position is responsible for translating market intelligence into actionable strategy, strengthening relationships with our most important channel partners, and enabling commercial excellence across the Brevant® Seeds business. This role will operate as a trusted consultant — influencing strategy, shaping go-to-market execution, and driving measurable business outcomes through data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting & Internal Influence Provide strategic guidance and communication in support of Brevant® Seeds initiatives, including those defined within the Owner's Manual. Develop processes and influence organizational behavior in areas such as recruitment alignment and business execution. Influence seller behavior related to segmentation, business planning, and account blueprints. Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence Serve as the subject matter expert on market insights, identifying opportunities for growth and competitive advantage. Deliver competitive intelligence to inform strategic and tactical decisions across the business. Strategic Partner & Channel Management Lead strategic account engagement through face-to-face market insight sharing and joint planning. Act as the primary external resource for market insights and sales training with retail partners. Promote consistent standards of business quality and professional development across the team. Data Analysis & Decision Support Analyze and present GPOS and related data sets to internal and external audiences. Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that support sound business decisions. Account Management Enablement Equip account managers with the data and insights required to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Bridge market intelligence, account strategy, and field execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered. Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, strategy, or consulting — preferably within the agriculture, seed, or crop protection industries. Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with point-of-sale data (GPOS preferred). Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
