RareCyte is a Life Sciences Precision Biology company focused on the development of novel technology and products in spatial biology and liquid biopsy. Our platforms have been adopted by leading research institutions and pharmaceutical companies worldwide for translational research, drug discovery and clinical programs. The breakthrough Orion technology is revolutionary in the spatial biology market, enabling tissue analysis with 20 channel whole-slide multiplex imaging in a single run. RareCyte is seeking an Account Executive, Precision Biology Services to identify, drive and close laboratory services opportunities for our Orion™ Spatial Biology and CyteFinder® Rare Cell platforms. The successful candidate will have a track record of sales and business engagement with large and emerging BioPharma. This position works collaboratively with our CLIA Lab Services, Platform Sales, and Marketing teams to expand RareCyte’s commercial opportunities focused on the clinical trials and companion diagnostic markets. This position will hunt and close new business opportunities as well as support relationships with existing clients. \n

Responsibilities

Meet and/or exceed sales target through development and execution of business plan Identify leads and close new sales opportunities for assay development and clinical trial programs with BioPharma and major research centers Manage sales funnel to meet commercial targets Coordinate capabilities presentations and proposals to create and progress new opportunities and partnerships Manage proposal response process including client requirements, price negotiation, contracting, RFP responses and vendor onboarding Manage engagements with clients to provide coordinated commercial communication and action plans Coordinate roadmaps and strategic plans with key clients to meet commercial targets and client needs Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and work closely with the services team to manage client programs according to plan Communicate the progress toward sales goals to commercial leadership Provide market feedback to the commercial leadership regarding competitive offerings and market trends Requires approximately 20% overnight travel

Qualifications

B.S., Biological Sciences required. M.S. or PhD advantageous. Strong commercial background with 2 to 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science tools industries Proven track record in sales and strategic alliances with BioPharma Experience in contract research sales and clinical trial programs preferred Strong analytical, evaluation, negotiation and problem-solving skills Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills Proven ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to be flexible and adjust to rapidly changing priorities, and to deliver results to meet strategic priorities A team player who values open communication and client focus

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 (annualized) In addition to a base salary wage, this position is eligible for role-specific commissions. Determining a base wage will be based on several factors which include skill set, level of education, experience and qualifications, as well as the comparison to RareCyte internal equity. Some roles may also qualify for additional compensation such as bonus, commission, stock options and travel allowance.
