This executive role is accountable for operational strategy, organizational development, customer and partner engagement, and execution of early gas power generation projects. The position blends strategic leadership with hands-on oversight to build a scalable, repeatable gas power construction platform aligned with Blattner's EPC and self-perform capabilities. Near-term focus includes utility-scale single-cycle gas turbines (OCGT), aeroderivative turbines and reciprocating engine plants, Energy Park integration, and emerging fuel cell support infrastructure. Oversees delivery of utility-scale gas power plants, including OCGT, CCGT, aeroderivative turbines, reciprocating engines, and fuel cell opportunities, in both a grid-connected and behind-the-meter application. Supports large-scale integrated Energy Parks and Major Multi-tech Project strategies where gas power generation is paired with solar, wind, BESS, high-voltage infrastructure, substations, and/or data center campuses. Aligns gas execution planning with campus-level sequencing, interconnection strategy, controls philosophy, energization milestones, commissioning logic, and reliability requirements. Recruits, develops, and retains Director-level and senior technical talent with gas power generation, heavy industrial, and mechanical experience, while reinforcing Blattner’s culture and commitment to excellence.
