Professional development completion and Returning 2 years or more OnRamps student employee pay $14.50 Position effective August 16-December 31, 2026 Ten positions open to The University of Texas at Austin Undergraduate students only. General Notes OnRamps prepares students and teachers for success in the classroom and beyond. Purpose The Arts & Entertainment Technologies (AET) Course Support employee assists with a variety of needs with the OnRamps AET 304 course. The Course Support employee works in close collaboration with the AET Course Manager and AET Course Coordinator in order to assess student submissions on a variety of projects, evaluating elements of thoughtful, creative, and artistic design. The Course Support employee also provides just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects.

Responsibilities

Critically evaluates Arts and Entertainment Technologies project submissions; accurately asses using a rubric; provide thoughtful and focused feedback Participates in course prototyping, user testing, and continuous improvement In collaboration with OnRamps program staff, engages in continuous improvement processes toward achievement of program objectives and staff leadership principles Attends and contributes to team meetings

Required Qualifications

Current student at The University of Texas at Austin studying Arts & Entertainment Technologies, Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Fine Arts, or related field Knowledge of high school teaching and learning environments At least 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment Basic knowledge of visualization software (Photoshop / Illustrator); Design Thinking; Sound editing software (BandLab) Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Current student at The University of Texas at Austin studying Arts & Entertainment Technologies, Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Learning Technology, Instructional Design, Fine Arts, or related field Knowledge of high school teaching and learning environments More than 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment Advanced knowledge of visualization software (Photoshop / Illustrator); Design Thinking; Sound editing software (BandLab) Salary $12.00 - $14.50 hourly Working Conditions May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
