Summary
The Sr. Consumer Credit Analyst meets assigned goals by developing, analyzing, and monitoring processes in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures. The Analyst is expected to take ownership of assigned tasks and challenges. Duties & Responsibilities Manage, assign, & review risks associated with Consumer Banking initial disclosures and adverse actions on new applications by validating disclosures and adverse actions and ensuring processes are executed in compliance with applicable laws, rulings, regulations, and guidance, including print mail reconciliations and delivery failures. Perform quality control duties. Manages oversight of compliance and audit activities of Consumer Credit Analyst. Support compliance and audit activities by obtaining and reviewing reports and validating that required items were completed accurately and timely. Determine whether appropriate corrective action was taken, when applicable. Provide summary of findings for compliance and audit activities to the Dir. of CNS Credit Risk Mgmt. Manage system validation and continuous monitoring of embedded rules and processes, testing new releases for changes and functionality to ensure the system is working as designed. Plan and execute testing plans, test scripts, and develop/document procedures. Assist in developing processes/procedures for various tasks within the consumer credit risk dept. Manage analysis of daily and monthly reports for any open or unreconciled items reported. Provide analysis and tracking until items have been satisfactorily resolved. Manage tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Consumer Credit Analyst and provides recommendations for performance standards. Qualifications
Education Requirements High School Diploma, BA/BS Degree preferred. Minimum Experience Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as a credit analyst (or commensurate combination of relevant credit/consumer lending experience). Prior banking experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and strong PC skills. Prior formal supervisory/people-management experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent customer relations and communication skills, planning and organizational skills, good decision-making skills, excellent writing skills, training and oral presentation skills, customer service orientation, and excellent analytical ability Knowledge of regulatory lending requirements and ensure compliance with lending and documentation guidelines, including Regulation B. Knowledge of the Bank’s Loan Policy and lending underwriting, procedural, and loan rate guidelines. Office: This position reports to a physical Company location, and the setting will be a typical office environment. Hybrid positions will report to a physical Company location, as directed by the manager, and that setting will be a typical office environment. In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $59,959.00 - $95,780.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant’s skills, experience and education.
