Key Responsibilities

Strategic Technical Delivery

  • Own end‑to‑end engineering execution for client implementations, from solution design through deployment, ensuring scalability, stability, and maintainability of custom integrations.
  • Act as a hands‑on Technical Lead when needed—participating in architecture discussions, conducting code reviews, and performing critical debugging for high‑risk or complex client scenarios.
  • Define and enforce delivery standards, technical quality controls, and best‑practice frameworks that drive consistency across global teams and regions.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and grow high‑performing software engineers and technical consultants, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaborative problem solving.
  • Build a motivated, accountable team environment by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and championing professional development pathways.
  • Lead cross‑functional squads of 6–12 engineers in a matrixed, delivery‑focused setup, ensuring seamless coordination with product, risk, AI, and project management stakeholders.

Customer & Product Alignment

  • Partner closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, constraints, and regulatory considerations, translating these insights into scalable, product‑aligned solutions.
  • Serve as the bridge between the field and the product organization, advocating for client needs while ensuring adherence to arenaflex’s architectural guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Product, Risk & AI, and Project Management teams to prioritize work, unblock technical challenges, and synchronize delivery timelines.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks, reusable toolkits, and component libraries that accelerate integration efforts and reduce time‑to‑value for clients.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve data pipeline efficiency, and enhance real‑time event processing capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry standards, and regulatory changes to keep arenaflex’s solutions at the forefront of financial risk management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical depth: Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience (Java preferred) or DevOps, with a solid grasp of modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Leadership experience: At least 2 years leading technical teams in customer‑facing environments, preferably with globally distributed or remote teams.
  • Client‑centric delivery: Demonstrated success delivering complex integrations in regulated sectors, ideally within Financial Services or related domains.
  • Process mindset: Proven ability to define, refine, and institutionalize engineering practices that improve predictability, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Communication excellence: Strong skill in translating technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences, facilitating clear dialogue across stakeholders.
