As a Customer Service Learning & Development Specialist, you will be at the heart of our Customer Care organization, shaping the learning journey of every new hire and continuously elevating the skills of seasoned agents. Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Content Development

  • Design, build, and iterate engaging learning experiences using a blend of in‑person, virtual, self‑paced, and microlearning modalities.
  • Standardize curriculum across onboarding, skill‑development, and ongoing training programs while allowing for customization to meet specific team needs.
  • Act as the subject‑matter expert on arenaflex (the primary ticketing and chat platform) and Customer Care workflows, providing guidance and best‑practice recommendations to peers and managers.
  • Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, ensuring materials are up‑to‑date, visually appealing, and aligned with adult‑learning principles.

Facilitation & Coaching

  • Own the end‑to‑end new‑hire onboarding experience, enabling agents to ramp quickly and confidently from day one.
  • Deliver dynamic training sessions that incorporate storytelling, role‑play, scenario‑based learning, and interactive micro‑modules.
  • Conduct knowledge checks, quality audits, and refresher workshops to assess retention and close skill gaps.
  • Provide individualized and group coaching, delivering actionable feedback that drives performance improvements and enhances the customer experience.

Performance Analysis & Program Improvement

  • Track and analyze key metrics such as new‑hire performance, attrition rates, and learning outcomes to identify opportunities for program refinement.
  • Utilize customer feedback, DSAT (Dissatisfied) scores, and other data sources to continuously evolve training content, reducing dissatisfaction and boosting retention.
  • Introduce innovative, data‑driven learning solutions—such as adaptive learning paths and gamified assessments—to increase engagement and accelerate skill acquisition.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in training, learning, or talent development, preferably within a contact‑center or customer‑service environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing and delivering ILT (Instructor‑Led Training), VILT (Virtual Instructor‑Led Training), WBT (Web‑Based Training), microlearning, and social‑learning programs.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities, with a proven track record of adapting delivery style to diverse audiences.
  • Technical fluency with CMS, LMS, and hands‑on experience using generative AI tools to support learning design and delivery.
  • Advanced data literacy—ability to interpret performance metrics, draw insights, and translate them into actionable training improvements.
  • Exceptional project‑management skills, capable of juggling multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a collaborative mindset that welcomes constructive feedback.

Preferred Experience & Additional Assets

  • Direct experience working in contact‑center operations, understanding ticketing, chat, and voice workflows.
  • Professional certifications in instructional design, facilitation, or adult‑learning theory (e.g., ATD, CPLP, or similar).
  • Background delivering performance feedback and coaching at all organizational levels, from entry‑level agents to senior managers.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex (the internal communication platform) and other collaboration tools.
