About the Customer Success Team

The Customer Success organization at arenaflex is the engine that drives post‑sale value, ensuring that every client realizes the full potential of our autonomous solutions. We partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver seamless onboarding, technical enablement, and ongoing support. Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Success Manager with a deep sense of ownership to lead the implementation, adoption, retention, and expansion of our Law Enforcement and Public Safety customers (DFR Majors). In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between our enterprise clients and arenaflex’s agile technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable plans and delivering measurable value.

This position reports to the Manager of Customer Success and works cross‑functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to ensure that our autonomous drone solutions exceed customer expectations and drive long‑term partnership growth.

Location

The ideal candidate will be based in the Central or Eastern Time Zone of the United States. Remote work flexibility is available, but occasional on‑site visits and travel to customer locations are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and scale onboarding processes: Create repeatable, efficient workflows that guide new enterprise customers from contract signing through successful deployment of arenaflex technology.
  • Project management: Own the end‑to‑end implementation timeline for ~20 enterprise accounts, coordinating internal resources and external stakeholders to meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Customer relationship building: Establish trusted advisor status through proactive communication, regular cadence calls, and strategic business reviews.
  • Feedback loop creation: Capture product usage data and customer insights, then brief senior leadership to influence roadmap priorities and engineering focus.
  • Advocacy and expansion: Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, drive renewal conversations, and develop account plans that align with customer objectives.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs): Lead QBRs that showcase ROI, adoption metrics, and future use‑case possibilities, ensuring customers see continuous value.
  • Risk mitigation: Monitor health indicators, flag at‑risk accounts early, and collaborate with Sales and Product to remediate concerns.
  • Technical enablement: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and hands‑on demonstrations to accelerate user proficiency with arenaflex’s autonomous drone platforms.
  • Travel and certification: Travel up to 40% of the time to customer sites and obtain a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supporting customers in the SLED (State, Local, Education, and Defense) sectors, specifically public safety and law enforcement environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing complex technology solutions within large enterprises, including hardware and software deployments.
  • Strong project management skills with familiarity in tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and related software deployment cycles.
  • Ability to travel 40%+ of the time and willingness to obtain a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to quantify product feedback, generate actionable insights, and influence product direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in autonomous flight, AI‑driven perception, or robotics engineering.
  • Experience conducting QBRs, executive briefings, and strategic account planning.
  • Prior exposure to SaaS or subscription‑based business models within the aerospace or technology sectors.
  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile frameworks.
  • Established network within law enforcement or public safety agencies that can be leveraged for partnership growth.
