Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) to champion the adoption of the arenaflex platform across the EMEA region. In this role you will own the end‑to‑end customer journey, acting as a trusted advisor who translates business goals into technical solutions, leads proof‑of‑value engagements, and ensures long‑term success for our most valuable customers.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to shape the roadmap, influence product decisions, and drive revenue growth through strategic technical enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Sales Discovery & Technical Enablement
Lead technical discovery workshops with prospective customers to uncover business objectives, technical constraints, and success criteria.
Craft and deliver compelling arenaflex platform demonstrations that showcase the value of our integrated stack, using storytelling techniques that resonate with both technical and executive audiences.
Partner with the Growth team to size deals, forecast usage, and identify high‑impact workloads that can be powered by arenaflex.
Develop custom proof‑of‑concept architectures that align with the customer’s roadmap, ensuring a clear path from pilot to production.
Proof‑of‑Value (PoV) Onboarding
Collaborate with customers to define the technical scope, timeline, and measurable outcomes for PoV projects, minimizing risk while maximizing perceived value.
Guide customers through a structured onboarding journey using a blend of documentation, webinars, hands‑on labs, and personalized coaching.
Monitor PoV progress, troubleshoot technical roadblocks, and iterate on solution designs to ensure the PoV meets or exceeds agreed‑upon success metrics.
Transition successful PoV engagements into long‑term contracts, working hand‑in‑hand with the Account Executive to close the deal.
Customer Success & Ongoing Enablement
Develop comprehensive account plans that address immediate onboarding goals as well as long‑term optimization opportunities, such as performance tuning, cost reduction, and new workload enablement.
Conduct architecture reviews, database design assessments, and performance optimization sessions to help customers scale confidently on arenaflex.
Serve as the internal champion for each customer, relaying feedback to Product, Engineering, and Support while keeping customers informed of upcoming roadmap releases.
Build deep, trust‑based relationships with stakeholders across the organization, from CTOs and VP‑Engineering to developers and operations teams.
Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities by staying attuned to evolving business needs and emerging use cases.
Essential Qualifications
6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, database engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Demonstrated expertise with relational database management systems, especially PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
Hands‑on experience building web applications using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue, Svelte, Node.js).
Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder engagements, mediate conflicting priorities, and drive consensus toward a shared solution.
Strong organizational skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
Preferred Experience & Additional Skills
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Background in project management, business analysis, or revenue operations tools such as HubSpot, BigQuery, or similar analytics platforms.
History of leading customer‑facing technical engagements that resulted in measurable business outcomes and revenue growth.
Comfort with asynchronous, remote work environments and the ability to thrive in a globally distributed team.
