Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Design

  • Act as the primary subject‑matter expert on arenaflex’s database offerings, including relational, NoSQL, in‑memory, search, and graph technologies.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop end‑to‑end solution architectures that align with customers’ strategic objectives.
  • Lead technical workshops, proof‑of‑concept (PoC) sessions, and deep‑dive architecture reviews that demonstrate the value of arenaflex’s data services.
  • Provide hands‑on guidance for migration, modernization, and performance‑tuning initiatives, ensuring best‑practice implementation across diverse workloads.

Customer Engagement & Advisory

  • Partner with senior IT leaders, data architects, and application developers to understand business drivers, data workloads, and compliance requirements.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑focused recommendations that help customers choose the right database technology for each use case.
  • Develop and deliver customized roadmaps that outline migration paths, cost‑optimization strategies, and scalability plans.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships post‑deployment, offering proactive support, performance reviews, and continuous improvement suggestions.

Feedback Loop & Product Influence

  • Capture real‑world usage patterns, feature requests, and pain points, and channel this intelligence back to arenaflex product and engineering teams.
  • Participate in beta programs, feature validation, and early‑access testing to shape the next generation of database services.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, best‑practice guides, and training materials that empower the broader arenaflex sales and support ecosystem.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise software, cloud platforms, or data‑centric roles, with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale solutions.
  • Database Expertise: Deep knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, or other graph databases.
  • Hybrid Data Skills: Demonstrated ability to evaluate, position, and integrate both relational and NoSQL databases based on application requirements, performance goals, and cost considerations.
  • Cloud Proficiency: Strong familiarity with arenaflex Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components that underpin data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Professional certifications such as arenaflex Cloud Architect, Certified Data Engineer, or vendor‑specific database certifications (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern data pipelines (Apache Kafka, Apache Beam, Dataflow).
  • Hands‑on exposure to data warehousing, analytics platforms, and machine‑learning integration points.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities, with a knack for translating technical depth into compelling business narratives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders across diverse industries.
