Role Overview – Why This Position Matters

The Key Account Manager – Public & General Customers will be a pivotal bridge between arenaflex and the most influential public health stakeholders in Vietnam. You will drive commercial growth, nurture strategic relationships, and ensure the successful deployment of our dengue vaccine across public hospitals, vaccination centers, and government‑run programs. This role blends strategic planning, scientific communication, and hands‑on execution to achieve sustainable market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Communication Bridge

  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison for key public accounts, delivering product knowledge, training, and marketing support.
  • Scientific Engagement: Conduct educational sessions for healthcare professionals (HCPs), KOLs, and decision‑makers, ensuring they understand the vaccine’s clinical benefits and safety profile.
  • Omnichannel Coordination: Align digital, face‑to‑face, and printed communications to present a unified arenaflex brand voice.

Customer Management & Strategic Planning

  • Stakeholder Mapping: Identify and engage key influencers within ministries of health, public hospitals, and vaccination networks.
  • Account Profiling: Build and maintain detailed profiles for each key account, tracking changes in leadership, procurement cycles, and policy updates.
  • Strategic Execution: Co‑create and implement tailored business plans that align with arenaflex’s vaccine strategy and national health objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, market trends, and forecast accuracy; proactively adjust tactics to meet or exceed targets.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Field Force, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain to deliver a seamless “One‑arenaflex” experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Capture regulatory updates, competitor activities, and customer insights; feed this intelligence back to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Marketing, and Medical teams.
  • Project Leadership: Lead account‑specific initiatives, such as vaccine awareness campaigns, tender submissions, and public‑sector outreach programs.

Commercial Performance Excellence

  • Execution of TAP Activities: Deliver group product presentations, promotional calls (face‑to‑face and virtual), booth staffing at symposia, and distribution of disease‑awareness leaflets.
  • Data & Evidence Delivery: Provide timely, accurate product data, clinical evidence, and objection‑handling support to HCPs and procurement officials.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with Marketing, Medical, Commercial, and Pharmacovigilance teams to answer customer queries on product efficacy, safety, supply, and regulatory status.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Supply the National Commercial Manager (NCM) and RSM with precise sales forecasts, in‑arm data, and performance dashboards.
  • e‑Consent Management: Secure electronic consent from HCPs for participation in omnichannel engagement activities, ensuring compliance with data‑privacy regulations.
  • Tender Management Support: Assist in the preparation and submission of public tenders, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Compliance Assurance: Maintain a zero‑percent non‑compliance rate for all promotional materials, activities, and interactions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related health science discipline.
  • Compliance Mind‑set: Demonstrated ability to operate within strict regulatory frameworks and uphold ethical standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in Vietnamese; ability to present complex scientific information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Pharmaceutical Experience: Prior experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) or Key Account Executive (KAE) within the pharma industry.
  • Vaccine Expertise: Direct exposure to vaccine products, regardless of role, is highly valued.
  • English Proficiency: Strong command of English (spoken, written, and reading) to interact with global teams and review international documentation.
