Remote Senior Social Worker - Family Services
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join their expanding team, providing vital family services. This is a fully remote, home-based position, allowing you to make a profound impact from anywhere within the US. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management, counseling, and support to families facing various challenges, including but not limited to, child welfare issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social work principles and best practices, coupled with exceptional advocacy and client support skills. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs, identifying strengths, challenges, and support requirements. Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with families, ensuring client-centered approaches. Provide ongoing counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals and families. Facilitate access to community resources, referrals, and support services, including housing, employment, healthcare, and legal aid. Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive appropriate services and benefits. Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA. Collaborate effectively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to coordinate care and support services. Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations. Participate in regular supervision sessions and team meetings, contributing to case consultations and professional development. Stay current with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work and child welfare. Develop and deliver psychoeducational workshops and support groups for clients. Contribute to program development and evaluation initiatives. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Active and unrestricted LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or equivalent state licensure. Minimum of 4-6 years of post-MSW clinical experience, with a strong focus on family services and child welfare. Demonstrated experience in case management, counseling, and crisis intervention. In-depth knowledge of community resources and referral systems. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual communication platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document accurately and effectively. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently. Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong time management skills. Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, private workspace conducive to remote work.
