Director, Strategic Partnerships – North America - | Life Sciences experience a must to be considered

ROLE MANDATE AI is rapidly changing the future of life sciences. As part of that growth, our retained client is building out its North American partnership function within a rapidly expanding global organization operating across North America, Europe, India, and Japan. This is a remote role, with preference for someone located within the Northeast U.S. pharma hub (Philadelphia, New Jersey, Boston preferred) to support client, partner, and conference travel across the region. We are not specifically looking for someone who has spent years selling SaaS. We ARE looking for someone who understands the realities of pharmaceutical and biotech environments, the pressure to bring therapies to market faster, and the importance of quality, compliance, validation, and operational efficiency within highly regulated industries. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Partnership Manager within a larger organization looking to step into their first Director-level role, or for someone early in their Director career seeking broader ownership, visibility, and impact. The successful individual will work closely with a highly respected VP of Partnerships and collaborate with global peers across Europe, India, and Japan to shape and evolve the broader partnership strategy. MAIN PILLARS OF THE ROLE Strategic Partnership Development

  • Support and grow strategic partnerships across North America
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand existing relationships
  • Help drive partnership-led pipeline growth alongside leadership

Partner Enablement & Relationship Management

  • Support onboarding, training, and enablement initiatives
  • Build trust and credibility across the partner ecosystem
  • Ensure partners understand the value and positioning of solutions

Commercial Growth Support

  • Contribute to pipeline development and market expansion initiatives
  • Participate in discussions surrounding customer needs and industry trends
  • Help position AI and validation technologies within pharma and biotech organizations

Industry & Market Engagement

  • Stay informed on AI, validation, compliance, and life sciences trends
  • Participate in conferences, networking events, and strategic meetings
  • Build credibility within the life sciences ecosystem

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Mindset

  • Work closely with commercial, product, and leadership teams globally
  • Bring curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to growth
  • Contribute ideas surrounding partnerships, market opportunities, and customer challenges

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU TO BE CONSIDERED

  • 3+ years of experience within channel partnerships, strategic alliances, business development, or partnership management within life sciences.
  • MUST HAVE: Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, CRO, validation, or regulated environments
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Curiosity around AI, digital transformation, validation, and compliance technologies
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a global organization
  • Experience supporting partner enablement, onboarding, pipeline growth, or account expansion
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution and follow-through
  • SaaS experience is helpful, but NOT required
