Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to become an integral part of our REMS call‑center operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of sensitive program and patient data, ensuring strict adherence to FDA regulations and internal compliance policies. Your work will support the safe distribution of specialty pharmaceuticals, protect patient privacy, and enable our compliance teams to maintain flawless audit trails. This is a full‑time remote position with standard EST shift options (8 a.m.–5 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m.).
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data from healthcare provider (HCP), patient, and pharmacy interactions into the REMS database with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Review and verify documentation to ensure alignment with REMS program requirements, flagging any discrepancies according to established SOPs.
- Escalate incomplete or inconsistent information promptly, collaborating with supervisors and compliance officers to resolve issues.
- Manage multiple communication channels (phone, email, chat) simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight turnaround times.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge base of all REMS initiatives, processes, resources, and materials to support continuous improvement.
- Utilize technology tools—including multi‑screen setups, specialized data‑entry platforms, and secure file‑transfer systems—to achieve high‑quality documentation.
- Ensure every activity complies with MLS, client, and industry‑mandated rules, especially regarding Personal Health Information (PHI) handling.
- Safeguard sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA, FDA, and internal privacy standards.
- Collaborate with team members to identify workflow enhancements, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of process excellence.
- Participate in periodic training sessions, audits, and quality‑control reviews to stay current with regulatory updates and internal policies.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1–3 years of data‑entry or administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare, pharmaceutical, or REMS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple technology platforms, manage several computer screens, and quickly learn new software interfaces.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology, patient support programs, or REMS processes is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
