Key Responsibilities – What Your Typical Day Looks Like

  • Member Advocacy: Listen attentively, ask clarifying questions, and provide accurate, compassionate answers to health‑care benefit and eligibility inquiries.
  • Product Guidance: Leverage deep knowledge of health‑plan offerings to recommend upgrades or supplemental options that align with each member’s unique needs.
  • Research & Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and proactive outreach to resolve pending enrollment status requests for new and existing members.
  • Digital Support: Assist members in logging into their online health accounts, navigating portal features, and locating doctors or facilities.
  • Compliance & Privacy: Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding all personal health information as if it were your own.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with your Team Lead, fellow representatives, and cross‑functional partners to share insights and continuously improve the member journey.

Essential Qualifications – What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a health‑care or insurance environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in health‑care administration is a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to follow HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with web browsers, CRM platforms, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps) and a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
