Position Overview – On‑Site Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Located in McAllen, Texas, this full‑time, on‑site role places you at the front line of arenaflex’s patient‑centric service model. You will be the “eyes and ears” for our healthcare partners, fielding inquiries across phone, email, chat, and social media, and delivering innovative, empathetic solutions that keep patients informed and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, live chat, and social media platforms to address questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Calmly de‑escalate challenging situations, employing active listening and problem‑solving techniques to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support teams or specialized departments when necessary, ensuring seamless hand‑offs.
  • Process payment authorizations, verify insurance eligibility, and assist with claim inquiries in accordance with regulatory standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current, valid Life & Health Insurance License in the state of Texas (or willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; additional post‑secondary education is a plus.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of direct customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Age 18 or older, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based desktop applications and comfort navigating multiple software tools simultaneously.
