About arenaflex – Your Next Career Destination

arenaflex is a dynamic, woman‑owned sales representation firm that partners with leading manufacturers to bring innovative products to the New England and Pennsylvania markets. Based in Connecticut, we pride ourselves on a collaborative, growth‑focused culture where every team member is empowered to shape their own career path. Our remote‑first philosophy allows talented professionals across the region to contribute meaningfully while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. If you thrive in an environment that values precision, proactive communication, and long‑term commitment, you’ll feel right at home at arenaflex.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry & Processing Specialist who lives in either New Hampshire or Pennsylvania. This role is primarily remote, with occasional in‑person support required for local trade shows, site visits, and other events (typically bi‑annual). Starting at 15‑20 hours per week, the position offers the opportunity to expand hours as our business grows. This is a long‑term opportunity with the potential to take on additional responsibilities, making it an ideal fit for candidates who are looking for stability and career advancement within a supportive, promote‑from‑within organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter a variety of data—including quote requests, new company and contact information, and incoming purchase orders—into the arenaflex database in real time with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update existing records by revising job titles, tracking quote and shipment statuses, and ensuring all information reflects the most current state of affairs.
  • Compose and send professional email communications to manufacturers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely follow‑up on inquiries and requests.
  • Make outbound calls to manufacturers during standard business hours (Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm EST) to confirm order details, resolve discrepancies, and gather additional information as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of bi‑annual trade shows and site visits, providing on‑site data support, answering questions, and facilitating smooth interactions between arenaflex and its partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams to prioritize tasks, share insights, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Identify and flag any data inconsistencies or gaps, recommending corrective actions to maintain the integrity of the arenaflex information system.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and team meetings to stay current on product knowledge, system updates, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 1‑2 years) in data entry, data processing, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a sales or manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of delivering error‑free work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, concise emails and conduct professional phone conversations.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiar with CRM or database management tools.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace that meets arenaflex’s remote‑work standards.
  • Residency in New Hampshire or Pennsylvania, with the ability to travel locally for occasional in‑person events.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing time effectively while working independently.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with ERP or specialized manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data validation techniques and basic data analysis concepts.
  • Previous exposure to the wholesale or distribution sector, understanding the flow of purchase orders and quotes.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to long‑term employment and a desire to grow within a small‑business environment.
  • Basic knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to data handling.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Accuracy & Precision: A meticulous approach to data entry ensures that the arenaflex database remains a reliable source of truth for the entire organization.
  • Communication: Clear, courteous, and timely communication with manufacturers and internal teams builds trust and facilitates smooth operations.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet daily targets, and adapt to shifting priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactively identifying data gaps or inconsistencies and proposing practical solutions.

  • Advanced Data Management: Take on more complex data analysis projects, reporting, and dashboard creation to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Transition into a support or account coordination role, directly interacting with manufacturers and key clients.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead efforts to streamline data workflows, implement automation tools, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Leadership Pathways: With arenaflex’s promote‑from‑within culture, high‑performing specialists can progress to supervisory or managerial positions within the sales and operations teams.
  • Professional Development: Access to online training platforms, industry webinars, and mentorship programs designed to broaden your skill set and keep you at the forefront of best practices.
