As a Spreadsheet/Data Entry/Excel Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the backbone of our new‑business enrollments team, ensuring that critical customer census files are meticulously cleaned, formatted, and ready for seamless ingestion into our proprietary systems. Your expertise will directly influence the speed at which our clients can onboard new customers, comply with regulatory standards, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Ingestion Preparation: Review incoming customer census files from banking, life insurance, and finance partners; identify missing or inconsistent data points; and perform thorough scrubbing to guarantee completeness.
  • Excel‑Centric Data Transformation: Utilize advanced Excel functions—including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, and data validation—to restructure raw data into standardized templates suitable for system import.
  • Report Generation: Produce regular and ad‑hoc reports that summarize data quality metrics, processing timelines, and any exceptions encountered during the ingestion workflow.
  • Administrative Support: Assist management with tracking key performance indicators, maintaining documentation of data‑handling procedures, and compiling information for internal audits.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the new‑business enrollments team, IT developers, and client stakeholders to clarify data requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment on project timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros or Power Query, and propose enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce error rates.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to EEO guidelines and data privacy regulations, safeguarding all client and company information with the highest level of confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data entry, spreadsheet management, or related administrative roles within the banking, life insurance, or finance sectors.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, data cleaning techniques, and report generation.
  • Strong attention to detail and an innate ability to spot inconsistencies, duplicate records, and data anomalies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of data issues to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
