Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Bookkeeping Management: Oversee the full bookkeeping cycle for a portfolio of clients, from data entry to final financial statements, guaranteeing compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
• Transaction Recording & Classification: Accurately capture purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, applying appropriate account codes and ensuring a clean audit trail.
• Bank Reconciliation & Account Analysis: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and provide insightful analysis of asset and liability accounts.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports that empower clients to understand their financial health.

• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized, secure filing systems for all financial documents, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval for audits or client inquiries.

Essential Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of U.S.-based bookkeeping experience, with a proven track record of handling multiple client accounts independently.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing both individual and business tax returns, including familiarity with federal and state filing requirements.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in arenaflex (the primary cloud‑based accounting platform used by our firm) for transaction entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
