Your work will directly influence how brands allocate media spend, how campaigns are optimized, and how we measure the true impact of our marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Storytelling & Visualization: Craft compelling visual narratives using Looker, Tableau, or comparable BI tools, making data accessible to stakeholders with varying technical expertise.
- Dashboard Development & Automation: Build and maintain production‑level dashboards that deliver real‑time insights on media performance, customer behavior, and merchandising outcomes.
- Campaign Reporting & Post‑Analysis: Deliver weekly and ad‑hoc reports that provide deep, robust post‑campaign insights, highlighting successes, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Advanced Analytics Projects: Lead or support initiatives such as incrementality testing, cohort analysis, and closed‑loop measurement to quantify the true lift generated by marketing activities.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Account Managers, and cross‑functional teams to identify business problems, propose data‑driven solutions, and track implementation impact.
- Code Review & Knowledge Sharing: Work alongside a small team of analysts and agency partners to review SQL code, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Prioritization & Ambiguity Management: Balance competing priorities, focus on high‑impact work, and navigate ambiguous situations to deliver measurable value.
Core Qualifications
- 2–5 years of professional experience analyzing complex media data, drawing actionable conclusions, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- 2–5 years of hands‑on experience writing, optimizing, and deploying production‑level SQL queries in a relational database environment.
- 2–5 years of experience creating advanced BI visualizations, preferably with Looker or Tableau, and a proven ability to translate raw data into intuitive dashboards.
- Strong storytelling aptitude—ability to turn data points into narratives that drive decision‑making and inspire action.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with a curiosity to explore business domains, data sources, and key performance metrics.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Direct experience working in marketing analytics or the retail industry, with an understanding of media buying, campaign measurement, and shopper behavior.
- Familiarity with statistical testing methods (e.g., A/B testing, propensity modeling) and the ability to design experiments that isolate causal impact.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and modern data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the confidence to present findings to executive audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of thriving in cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments.
