Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the Senior Marketing Director to develop multi‑year visual marketing roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives and seasonal campaigns.
  • Project Leadership: Own the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale visual merchandising projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams—including Store Operations, Space Planning, Creative Services, and Supply Chain—from concept through store rollout.
  • Creative Execution: Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of visual displays, fixtures, lighting, signage, and promotional assets across all retail formats (e‑commerce, omni‑channel, and brick‑and‑mortar).
  • Data‑Driven Optimization: Leverage shopper analytics, sales data, and market research to continuously refine visual strategies, improve conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
  • Tool & Process Development: Champion the creation and enhancement of visual merchandising tools, templates, and onboarding guides for both corporate and field teams.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop a high‑performing visual marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal partners (Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations, Real Estate) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of visual concepts.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all visual installations comply with safety regulations, brand guidelines, and sustainability standards.
  • Innovation Advocacy: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, introducing innovative visual solutions that differentiate arenaflex in the marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in visual merchandising or visual marketing, preferably within a large retail environment.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on in‑store retail experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of store operations and shopper behavior.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, manage budgets, and deliver results on time and within scope.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable visual strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and field teams.
  • Self‑motivated, highly organized, and comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proficiency in the arenaflex Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with visual design software (formerly Adobe Creative Suite, now referred to as arenaflex Design Tools).
