Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, state‑certified educator to join our remote teaching team as a CRE Teacher – Touch Systems Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you will deliver engaging business, finance, and marketing curriculum to middle and high school students (grades 6‑12) in a fully virtual environment. You will also serve as a data‑driven instructional coach, using arenaflex’s learning management system to monitor student progress, provide personalized feedback, and guide learners toward post‑secondary success through tools such as Career Builder and Career Cruising.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver rich synchronous (live) and asynchronous (self‑paced) learning experiences that align with state, national, and industry standards for business, finance, and marketing.
• Personalize instruction for each student, differentiating lessons based on mastery levels, learning styles, and individual goals.
• Maintain accurate grade books, ensure academic integrity, and make data‑informed placement and promotion decisions.
• Prepare students for high‑stakes standardized assessments, providing targeted practice and strategic test‑taking techniques.
• Communicate regularly and promptly with families, learning coaches, and administrators to build strong partnerships and address any academic or technical concerns.
• Support parents and learning coaches in troubleshooting virtual classroom tools, ensuring a seamless online experience for every learner.
• Develop supplemental instructional resources—interactive activities, multimedia presentations, and real‑world case studies—to enhance the core curriculum.
• Collaborate with the school’s national professional learning community, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous curriculum improvement.
• Administer and proctor certification assessments when required, maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with testing protocols.
• Serve as an advisor for Career & Technical Student Organizations, fostering leadership and career exploration among students.
• Partner with the CTE Program Coordinator to cultivate business and industry relationships that create authentic work‑based learning opportunities.
• Facilitate project‑based learning initiatives that integrate real‑world business challenges, encouraging critical thinking and collaboration.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for professional development workshops, student testing events, and collaborative meetings, either virtually or in person as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
• Active state teaching license (or alternative certification) for secondary education.
• Successful completion of a background check and eligibility to work in Texas.

Essential Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint—and the ability to create and interpret data visualizations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for delivering clear, concise feedback to students and families.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience teaching business, finance, or marketing to middle‑school or high‑school students, either online or in a traditional classroom.

• Experience supporting both adult learners and younger students in the use of technology, troubleshooting common issues, and fostering digital literacy.
• Background in career and technical education (CTE) program development, including project‑based learning and industry partnership coordination.
