Position Overview – Claims Support Specialist (Bilingual)

The Claims Support Specialist role is a pivotal front‑line position that blends customer service excellence with meticulous claims adjudication. You will be the trusted voice for agents, dealers, and policyholders, guiding them through the claims process, providing status updates, and ensuring every interaction reflects arenaflex’s commitment to quality and care.

This full‑time, onsite position operates on an 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. shift (non‑exempt) and begins on June 2, 2025. You will work closely with supervisors, team leads, and quality assurance partners to meet performance metrics while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Claims Call Management: Answer inbound claims‑related calls, adhere to schedule, and achieve defined service level metrics.
  • Documentation & Inspection: Conduct order inspections when required, gather necessary documentation, and organize files by claim number.
  • Adjudication Process: Follow arenaflex’s claims procedures, apply contract terms, and utilize the arenaflex system to drive claim status updates.
  • Escalation & Fraud Detection: Identify potential fraud, notify supervisors promptly, and escalate complex issues to team leads or managers.
  • Communication Excellence: Draft and send letters to customers and dealerships, ensuring clear, courteous, and accurate information exchange.
  • Quality Assurance Compliance: Maintain adherence to QA guidelines, record call details, and document all actions in the arenaflex system.
  • Training Participation: Complete mandatory training modules and a 90‑day introductory period, demonstrating punctuality and commitment.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to resolve exceptions based on dealership, agent, or client nuances.
  • Financial Coordination: Verify premium receipt from dealerships before issuing checks, ensuring financial integrity.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, insurance claims, or call‑center environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish or French.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interacting with customers, dealers, and vendors.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • College degree or coursework in business, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high‑volume call center environment.
  • 2+ years of experience handling automotive insurance or warranty claims.
  • 1+ year of experience in an automotive repair or technical role.
  • Experience within the automotive industry, including familiarity with dealership processes.
  • Bilingual or trilingual proficiency, with the ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish and/or French in a professional setting.
