Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from customers seeking assistance with billing, payments, and financial questions, delivering accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve escalated financial matters, including billing discrepancies, payment disputes, credit adjustments, and refunds, ensuring each case is closed to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Ownership & Follow‑Through: Serve as the primary point of contact for each financial inquiry, taking full ownership from initial contact through final resolution and documentation.
  • Documentation: Record every customer interaction in Salesforce, maintaining a comprehensive and searchable account history that supports future reference and compliance audits.
  • Inbox Management: Monitor the dedicated Billing inbox, create and prioritize cases, and ensure prompt follow‑up on all open items.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including Accounting, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product Support—to coordinate solutions and share critical information.
  • Financial Adjustments: Process credits, compensation, and other financial adjustments in line with arenaflex policies, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Onboarding & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor new Finance & Billing CSRs, contribute to training materials, and share best practices to elevate the entire team’s performance.
  • Special Projects: Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvements, and pilot programs that enhance the overall billing experience for our customers.
  • Compliance & Data Accuracy: Uphold financial compliance guidelines, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and data integrity is maintained.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in accounting, finance, or related fields is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, billing, or a customer service role that involved handling monetary transactions.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Great Plains, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce; hands‑on experience with any of these platforms is highly desirable.
