Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative – Retirement Plan Services role is the front line of arenaflex’s commitment to delivering seamless, knowledgeable support to plan participants, beneficiaries, financial professionals, and plan sponsors. This position starts with an intensive eight‑week, on‑site training program in Fort Wayne, IN, after which you will transition to a fully remote work‑from‑home arrangement. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer an average of 60‑90 inbound calls per day, handling callbacks and email inquiries from a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate, courteous, and timely information about retirement plan features, eligibility, contributions, distributions, and related processes.
  • Research and navigate multiple internal systems, databases, and platforms to resolve complex inquiries while maintaining a customer‑centric focus.
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including call handling time, first‑call resolution, and quality assurance scores.
  • Build rapport with customers, educating them on plan options and helping them make informed decisions that align with their retirement goals.
  • Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement; proactively recommend enhancements to leadership.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure during high‑volume periods, shifting priorities, and rapid procedural changes.
  • Adhere to scheduled breaks, lunch periods, and overtime requirements as needed to support peak‑time demand.

Training & Development

During the first eight weeks, you will be immersed in a classroom‑style training program at our Fort Wayne hub. This comprehensive curriculum includes:

  • Hands‑on system navigation training, covering all relevant databases and software tools.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
  • 0–1+ years of general work experience; prior experience in financial services or a call‑center environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written) is highly valued.
