Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet every guest with a warm, approachable demeanor, actively listen to their needs, and provide accurate information about products, promotions, and store services.
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and visually appealing store environment. This includes arranging merchandise, rotating stock, and ensuring aisles are free of obstacles.
  • Merchandise Handling: Unload deliveries from trucks, organize items in the stockroom, and transport products to the sales floor using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Shelf Stocking & Recovery: Independently replenish shelves, perform inventory checks, and recover misplaced items to keep the store fully stocked throughout the day.
  • POS Transactions: Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using the point‑of‑sale system, while adhering to arenaflex’s cash handling policies.
  • Safety & Security: Remain vigilant of customer activity, identify potential safety hazards, and act promptly to maintain a secure shopping environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and support staff to coordinate tasks, share insights, and contribute to a cohesive store operation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training sessions, provide feedback on store processes, and adopt best practices that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by store leadership that support the overall profitability and operational excellence of the arenaflex location.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal directives, especially those related to retail operations and safety protocols.
  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or pharmacy environments is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lb regularly and up to 55 lb occasionally, with the ability to move items from floor level to above shoulder height.
  • Comfortable with frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting; reasonable accommodations can be discussed.
  • Flexibility to work a full‑time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
