Position Overview

This position is integral to the smooth operation of campus parking facilities and event‑related transportation services. Your role directly contributes to safety, revenue generation, and the overall reputation of arenaflex as a premier transportation provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash Handling & Transaction Accuracy: Operate payment kiosks, collect cash when necessary, and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Safety & Compliance: Monitor parking areas for safety hazards, report incidents to campus security, and enforce arenaflex policies regarding vehicle flow and pedestrian movement.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside full‑time supervisors, event staff, and security personnel to coordinate seamless operations during high‑traffic periods.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Adjust to shifting schedules, including evenings, weekends, and occasional daytime shifts, to meet the demands of seasonal events and peak traffic times.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Basic math proficiency for handling cash and processing payments.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate outdoor or indoor parking environments.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the campus location.
  • Eligibility to undergo a background check in accordance with arenaflex policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with parking management systems or point‑of‑sale (POS) technology.
  • Experience working at large‑scale events, such as sports games, concerts, or festivals.
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive service practices.
  • Ability to speak a second language, enhancing service to diverse campus populations.

Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Anticipate needs, resolve issues quickly, and leave every patron feeling valued.
  • Problem‑Solving: Identify and address operational challenges, from equipment malfunctions to traffic bottlenecks.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately record transactions, follow safety protocols, and maintain orderly workspaces.
  • Team Orientation: Communicate effectively with colleagues, share information, and support one another during busy periods.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks, adhere to shift schedules, and meet deadlines for reporting and documentation.
  • Technological Proficiency: Comfort using computers, email, and basic software tools for logging interactions and generating reports.

Work Schedule & Environment

arenaflex offers a highly flexible part‑time schedule designed to accommodate students, retirees, and anyone seeking supplemental income.
