Key Responsibilities
- Data‑Driven Reporting & Automation: Partner with the Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) Business and cross‑functional partners to design, build, and maintain automated MIS reporting solutions that deliver real‑time visibility into operational risk.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify process improvements and implement controls to reduce operational risk, collaborating closely with the broader Functional Excellence team and GMNS stakeholders.
- Advanced Analytics: Conduct sophisticated data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and root‑cause insights that inform proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Insight Generation: Transform unstructured data sources into clear, actionable intelligence, highlighting potential process breakdowns and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting & Presentation: Produce recurring, predictive control and compliance reporting, develop executive‑level presentations, and communicate findings in a compelling, business‑focused manner.
- Continuous Monitoring: Track control and compliance metrics, refine rating models, and illuminate risk‑based decision pathways.
- Project Support: Contribute to targeted initiatives aimed at strengthening the control environment, reducing risk exposure, and enhancing remediation processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners to answer critical business questions, develop dashboards, and deliver insights that drive measurable outcomes.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer across the organization.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, risk management, or operational reporting within a financial services environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, SAS, or Hive for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets into concise, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts to senior leadership.
