Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Specialist (IT Services Technician)

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, reliable professional to join our Data Innovation Division as a Remote Data Entry Specialist. This full‑time role is based out of Philadelphia, USA, but you will work from the comfort of your home office. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $26 per hour and an immediate start for the right candidate. You will be the front line of support for end‑user computing environments, handling hardware, software, and network issues with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, resolve, and close tickets related to end‑user workstations, peripherals, and network connectivity.
  • Provide timely responses to help‑desk inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with global project teams on large‑scale initiatives, including hardware roll‑outs and system redesigns.
  • Utilize remote tools to troubleshoot and remediate issues, maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner with regional offices to investigate and resolve infrastructure‑related problems.
  • Document all client interactions in the ticketing system, updating status, resources, and resolution details.
  • Recover data from hard drives and perform data migration tasks as needed.
  • Maintain secure remote access for virtual private networks (VPN) and ensure broadband connectivity for workstations.
  • Install, configure, and support both local and network printers across the organization.
  • Provide on‑site support for emergency situations, including travel to corporate locations when required.
  • Adhere to arenaflex IT policies, aligning with strategic objectives and best practices.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR an associate degree with relevant certifications and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven, hands‑on IT support experience in a Windows/TCP‑IP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to support workstations, troubleshoot software applications, and resolve hardware failures.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and newer releases.
  • Experience with VPN technologies and the ability to diagnose connectivity issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, as occasional on‑site equipment handling may be required.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credentials.
  • Prior experience in an airline or airport IT environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of printer deployment, imaging, and peripheral management.
  • Experience with data recovery tools and data migration processes.
