Strategic FP&A (Top Line)
About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a PE-backed enterprise technology company seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support strategic finance, top-line forecasting, and operating model development during a significant transformation period. This role sits within a highly visible FP&A organization supporting executive leadership, long-range planning, board reporting, SaaS forecasting, and GTM investment analysis. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in SaaS metrics, advanced financial modeling, and strategic business partnership within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and enhance integrated three-statement operating models supporting annual planning and long-range forecasting
- Develop ARR, bookings, ACV, and recurring revenue forecasting models
- Translate pipeline health, sales performance, and GTM investment strategy into scalable revenue projections
- Support cash forecasting and strategic capital allocation analysis
- Assist with Board, monthly business review (MBR), and quarterly business review (QBR) reporting packages
- Analyze SaaS KPIs and operating metrics
- Partner closely with RevOps, Sales Leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and strategic forecasting
- Help improve forecasting rigor and operational visibility in a post-acquisition environment
- Translate complex financial trends into clear business insights and executive recommendations
What We’re Looking For Required Experience
- 5–10 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience
- Strong SaaS finance experience with deep understanding of recurring revenue metrics
- Advanced three-statement financial modeling experience
- Experience supporting ARR, bookings, or GTM forecasting
- Strong understanding of SaaS KPIs and unit economics
- Advanced Excel skills with highly integrated spreadsheet design
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
- Strong executive communication and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Experience
- PE-backed technology company experience
- Experience supporting Board or investor reporting
- Experience partnering with RevOps and GTM leadership
- ERP/CRM/planning systems experience such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Pigment, or Tableau
- Experience within enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, AI, or SaaS environments
