AVP, VP MBU Claims Leader
Job Description:
- Develop long-term plan for the Medical Business Unit program claims organization
- Establish and monitor benchmarks and metrics for team performance
- Provide innovative solutions to achieve strategic goals
- Cultivate relationships with reinsurers and clients
- Manage audit processes and quality standards
- Oversee alignment of vertical partners with divisional objectives
- Prepare detailed reports and portfolio analysis
- Collaborate with Analytics and IT teams for efficiency improvements
- Maintain compliance with claims practices and confidentiality agreements
- Foster team growth and morale
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 10+ years’ experience in related Medical Insurance claims roles (Medical Stop Loss or Medical Excess)
- 5+ years of medical program claims experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable
- Ability to travel
