Role Description The Senior Business Solutions Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, actionable solutions for public sector clients. This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand goals, gather and document business requirements, and analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement. The analyst will create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and workflows, and support solution design, configuration, and implementation in collaboration with technical teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading requirements workshops, performing impact and gap analyses, supporting testing and user acceptance activities, and helping ensure that solutions align with organizational objectives and regulatory constraints. The role also includes preparing clear documentation, facilitating communication between business and technical teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of IFG’s methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills, including eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements across the solution lifecycle.
- Proven Business Process expertise, with experience mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows in complex organizational environments.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, assessing impacts, evaluating options, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and create clear, concise documentation.
- Experience working as a senior or lead business analyst on technology or digital transformation projects, preferably in the public sector or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with requirements management and modeling tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BPMN or similar process modeling tools).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid), and experience working closely with product, project, and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile or Scrum certifications) are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong client relationships.
