HIT - Epic Bugsey Implementation Analyst | TELECOMMUTE | OI
Epic Bugsy Implementation Specialist W2, C2C, and DBC all okay. 100% telecommute. Interview Process: Interview via Teams meeting - camera on, with Bugsy Project Delivery Lead and Project Manager Hours: The candidate will work a regular 9am - 5 pm shift in their respective time zone, however as the client, John Muir Health (JMH), is on Pacific time, there will be a need for some flexibility if meetings or working session have to be scheduled later in the day. Project:
- The candidate will be dedicated to our Epic Bugsy Implementation. Bugsy is the Epic Infection Prevention module. This a critical project and is highly visible across the John Muir Health enterprise.
- We have a hard and fast deadline to take the Bugsy module live on October 22nd 2023 - at the same time as the Beaker module (this is the Epic Lab module).
- The build has been started, but the current analyst has had to step away from the project. So the candidate will need to pick up and complete the build, as well as thoroughly test and validate the build.
- The expectation is that the candidate will work, at the direction of the Bugsy project manager, on completing the build needed, and be on point for application and integrated testing. They will also participate in go-live and post go-live support.
Team:
- The candidate will be working with an Epic Boost resource, specializing in Bugsy, who is also fully dedicated to the project.
- We also have the support of the Epic implementation team comprising and Application Manager (AM) and Application Coordinator (AC).
- We expect the candidate to also work with our Beaker Microbiology analyst on build considerations that impact both the Beaker and Bugsy modules.
Responsibilities:
- Bugsy build, maintenance and testing
- Liaise with Infection Preventionists to understand their workflows and ensure that the Bugsy module build meets their needs.
- Participation in project meetings and working sessions
- Creation of application and integrated testing plans
- Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
- Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
- Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
- Translates concepts into practice.
Ideal Background:
- The candidate will be Epic Bugsy certified.
- Ideally the candidate should have some clinical experience in either microbiology, pharmacy/antimicrobial stewardship or infection prevention field. However if they have experience with other Bugsy full-cycle implementations, or with maintaining Bugsy, that would be helpful.
Required:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
